Famous on the airwaves

Oh, by the way, I was interviewed by the local fox affiliate while at BGG.Con. You can see the segment online. Does anyone know a good way to rip the video from the flash stream?

I only have a few lines, but they interviewed me for at least five or ten minutes. Remember, the secret to TV interviews is short sound bites and to ruin the shot if you flub a line.

Yep, that's what I do. I grabbed the .flv file, and dropped it up here:

You can either watch it directly that way, or convert it to the format of your choice with a variety of free tools.

How I snag FLVs with my Mac (browser: Safari):

1. hit apple-alt-a to pop open the activity window
2. find the flv being loaded
3. click on it and hit apple-c to copy it
4. open the downloads window and paste it in to download it
5. view it in the quicktime player, since I have a QT codec that plays FLV

Not sure what you use. I'm pretty sure Firefox has an equivalent to the activity widow but I can't remember what it is, and there seems to be a FLV codec out there for Windows.
