The Ten Best Science Fiction Movies That Never Existed

I don't like to do a drive-by blogging with a single link in it, but sometimes you gotta do it. I somehow stumbled across this list describing an alternate history of scifi movies- one I think we'd all rather live in. Better than half of those movies I would catch opening day, at non-matinee prices.

Enjoy.

That is indeed a list of would-be movies that would have the world a much better place .. My person fave would have been a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that didn't just massively suck!

Out-standing, Mischa. Thanks for that link. That is some great stuff. I definitely agree w/ reel fanatic about H2G2; it just wasn't RIGHT. The Shaun of the Dead idea is genius!

Good Doom...check. I didn't even bother w/ the "Rock" one; but it could have indeed been an excellent SF action movie...again, good references. Robocop is one of my personal faves in that genre. A Doom in that style would have been something to see. I STILL remember playing it on my Atari Jaguar, speakers maxed out...good times.

Starcraft...never thought of the movie potential. Genius! Snow Crash...I agree w/ both the idea and his comments why we've had no joy. Dang, the whole list rocks! I didn't even GET to the SW stuff. Sheesh!
